German Pinot Noir in Bordeaux Country
Vinexpo is one of the most important trade forums for the world's wine markets, including Germany, which will once again demonstrate the international competitiveness of its wine-growers at this year's trade fair. For eleven years in a row, the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) has organized and financed a German pavilion.
Comparative tastings with wines from Alsace and Austria, as well as presentations featuring the so-called “Pinot Trio” (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir), round out the selection at Germany’s Vinexpo stand. The wine institute team will be on hand every day to discuss current issues and conduct seminars with wine tastings – all designed to help trade visitors focus on German wine.
